Really fun machine; the extra battery helps with speed and longevity, but definitely adds to the weight. The connection with the app is very fun. I work at large hospital campus and it really helps me get around the grounds!

This is the life transforming scooter for me in DC. I bought a competing brand inexpensive scooter as proof of concept. Great, but not really enough. Basically you have to pay enough to get the battery and performance. The ninebot es4 is it. Good speed, climbs hills, battery lasts even on climbing. The biggest unintuitive maneuver would be shifting my weight backwards to increase braking. Always wear a helmet-this isn۪t a toy, it۪s real transportation. I۪ll write a lengthier review once I have more experience. But the ES4 is already life-transforming.
